Pumpkin Walk/Trunk or Treat

Please join us for our upcoming Pumpkin Walk/Trunk or Treat. This event will be held on Friday, October 25 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  Students are welcome to wear their costumes to trick or treat every classroom's trunk.  Families can enjoy the sounds of our Mallet Master and Gecko Singer while walking through hundreds of carved pumpkins.  We hope to see you there.

Ruby Bridges Walk to School Event

We are excited to announce our upcoming Ruby Bridges “Walk to School” event and invite you to be a part of this meaningful celebration. This special event, a collaboration between Kyrene de las Brisas Elementary School and Kyrene Aprende Middle School, symbolizes our shared commitment to unity, community, and the legacy of Ruby Bridges.

Ruby Bridges “Walk to School” event is more than just a walk—it's a powerful opportunity for our students to learn about and honor Ruby Bridges' courageous journey as the first African American student to integrate an all-white elementary school in the South. By participating, we are helping our students understand the importance of standing up for what is right, fostering inclusivity, and building a stronger, more united community. This event encourages our students to recognize the impact of positive change and the role they can play in promoting equality and justice in their own lives.

Our Ruby Bridges “Walk to School” event will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024. The day will begin with an inspiring outdoor assembly at 8:30 AM, and we warmly invite all parents to attend.
